Professional videographer and editor in Yorkshire

Based in West Yorkshire, near Huddersfield, Leeds and Bradford, I bring over 20 years of experience as a camera operator (videographer) and editor. My expertise spans long-form and short-form documentaries, corporate filming, events and content creation for social media and websites.

I began my career with the BBC, training on two prime-time dramas at the age of seventeen, working with super 16mm cine cameras. A year later, I joined a London-based production company as a B-Camera Operator and Assistant Editor on several broadcast documentaries including 'Man Of The World: The Peter Green Story’ (broadcast on BBC Two). This project highlighted the founding of Fleetwood Mac and featured interviews with Noel Gallagher, BB King, Mick Fleetwood and Peter Green.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working on several notable feature films. I co-produced and directed the suspenseful drama 'Warhouse,' starring Joseph Morgan from 'The Vampire Diaries,' and the heartfelt journey depicted in '500 Miles North’ (which I also co-produced and directed) featuring a stellar cast including Joseph Morgan, Matt Ryan of 'Constantine,' Sue Johnston from 'The Royle Family' and Kevin McNally of 'The Pirates of the Caribbean' fame.

My passion for storytelling led me to focus on creating impactful broadcast sport documentaries. Notable projects include 'Iron Man: The Sean Fallon Story,' featuring insights from football legends Alex Ferguson and Kenny Dalglish which was broadcast on BT Sport. I also produced and directed the official John Barnes documentary, aired on BT Sport and available in LFC stores. Another significant project was 'Celtic’s Smiler: The Neilly Mochan Story,' distributed through Celtic FC stores. Additionally, I collaborated with the Wakefield Trinity PDRL Rugby team to film 'These Sporting Lives' in Australia with the Gold Coast Titans, now available on Amazon Prime.

In 2023, I co-produced, filmed and edited a documentary mini-series titled 'Released,' in collaboration with Three Sixty TV and former Manchester United captain Rio Ferdinand's, FIVE. This project provided me the unique opportunity to film at Harvard University, capturing insightful moments and narratives that contribute to the documentary's compelling storytelling.

Over the 18 months, I have been deeply involved in several charity deployments across Uganda, Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and along the Syrian border. These missions allowed me to document vital humanitarian efforts including food and water projects, hot food & hygiene kit distribution and medical aid, showcasing the essential work being done in these regions.

I am passionate about collaborating with individuals, corporate companies and production houses to bring their visions to life. Whether it's through filming, editing or full production services, my goal is to deliver exceptional video content that meets and exceeds client expectations.
